The majority of collectors have come to know me through the miniature figurative works created from 1977 until today. Few know that the foundation of my artistic skills was built on the paintings produced over an eleven-year period from 1962 to 1973. To help collectors have a better understanding of this time period, we have included and combined information from 3 important retrospective events showing my work to the public. They are:
- Robert Olszewski, The Art of Miniatures: A Retrospective, The Carnegie Art Museum, Oxnard, California December 19, 1992 - March 28, 1993
- The Carole and Barry Kaye Museum of Miniatures, Los Angeles, CA October 12, 1996 - April 26, 1997
- The Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) Art Museum, Indiana, PA, March 28, 1998 through May 17, 1998
The exhibitions covered both my early paintings and begins to introduce selective miniature figurative art work.
